Microsoft Bringing Home “Blue Dragon” and “Lost Odyssey” HD TrailersPublished by sjohn on Monday, September 25, 2006
New downloadable trailers from highly anticipated Japanese Xbox 360 titles available in vivid high definition this Wednesday
Microsoft today announced the availability of new HD trailers for the highly anticipated upcoming Xbox 360 games, “Blue Dragon” and “Lost Odyssey” on Xbox Live Marketplace this Wednesday, Sept. 27. Originally unveiled at the Tokyo Game Show, Xbox Live “Bringing It Home” will allow connected members to enjoy the trailers, which showcase the footage in vivid, high definition quality.
Thanks to Xbox Live “Bringing It Home” gamers don’t have to be on TGS and X06 guest lists to have a front row seat to all of the action. Through Friday, Sept. 29, connected gamers can access the best content from TGS in Japan and X06 in Barcelona, Spain, including highlights from both press briefings, daily updates and behind the scenes videos from the show floors as well as the hottest playable game demos and videos in high definition.
“Blue Dragon,” developed by Mistwalker and Artoon, blends the design excellence of Hironobu Sakaguchi with the art of Akira Toriyama to create a dynamic game experience unlike any other RPG on Xbox 360. The game leads players through a fantasy world filled with heroes armed with mystical shadows in the forms of dragons, bats, and minotaurs that they control to fend off evil. “Blue Dragon” is set to hit store shelves in Japan this holiday.
“Lost Odyssey” is an RPG in development by Mistwalker in conjunction with Free Plus and Microsoft Game Studios. The game spins an epic tale of magic and tragedy, where a man named Kaim is sentenced to live 1,000 years and multiple lifetimes watching friends and loved ones come and go in a world on the brink of a mystical industrial revolution. The game is slated for release in Japan in 2007.
